It does require a bit of tank editing knowledge and a hex editor, and I seriously suggest that you back up your current game first. however, after a bit of fiddling with save game files, it IS possible to effect this "horizontal" camera to an existing game. Having seen a number of mods that allow the camera to pan down to almost level with the party, I was a bit put out that they don't affect current saved games.
